Alternative Dispute Resolution

Lamb Building, Temple, London

LADR (LambBuilding Alternative Dispute Resolution) offers mediation and alternative dispute resolution services to providers of legal services, customer care departments, court services and commercial organisations. We also offer our services to members of the public who want to find a way to resolve a dispute quickly and more cheaply than by court action.

We have a formidable team of 22 accredited mediators (approved by the Bar Council) who bring to mediation a broad diversity of expertise - from commercial disputes, personal injury and professional negligence claims, to employment, property, landlord & tenant, construction, and family litigation.

LADR is accredited by the Civil Mediation Council as a mediation provider. LADR is also a designated provider of mediation services to the National Mediation Helpline in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Central and Greater London, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Surrey, Sussex and Warwickshire.

Our mediators have all been trained in the psychological underpinning of disputes and so have an edge on mediators trained elsewhere, with the skills to deal with disputes of a high emotional content. They are well able to promote, as far as possible, common ground and a realistic settlement of a dispute between parties who at the outset may be a long way apart.

The Chambers Administrator is an accredited mediator, and together with our Clerks can advise on the appropriate mediator, fees, and the range of mediation services provided by LADR.

On this site you can learn more about mediation and alternative dispute resolution, and see how disputes can be settled without recourse to the courts.
